Newly Promoted: Adam Thomas Promoted to Vice President of Operations at nGROUP

Please join me in celebrating the promotion of one of our amazing team members! Today, we want to recognize Adam Thomas, formerly our Senior Director of Operations, for his promotion to Vice President of Operations at nGROUP.

Adam is a veteran of logistics, as well as a valuable member of the nGROUP team. Before joining us, he spent nearly 30 years in logistics, working in just about every position conceivable. Adam is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and brings a wealth of expertise in lean processes to our clients and nGROUP teams.

At nGROUP, Adam has proved to be an invaluable member of the team, going above and beyond to serve our clients. In March of 2020, when a catastrophic tornado leveled the facility of our client, Optoro, right outside of Nashville, TN, Adam was one of the first to the scene. He’s responsive, client-focused, and resourceful. Adam’s leadership during that tragic event, in partnership with our Operations team and Optoro, allowed the client to get back up and running in a mere 10 days!

In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Adam will be responsible for implementing nGROUP’s strategic vision. A key part of that will be developing and guiding managers and directors in vital leadership roles. In addition, he will play a leadership role in developing the cost-saving engineering and systemic solutions we deliver to our client partners.

For Adam, the most exciting part of the job is empowering individuals and teams to expand their skills and capabilities. Whether that means helping nGROUP innovate a new labor solution model for our partners, or helping a manager reach their full potential, Adam loves seeing growth in both organizations and individuals.

For our part here at nGROUP, we couldn’t be more excited to have Adam in this position now. His depth of experience, wealth of knowledge, and passion for growth are evident for all to see, and we know he will play a big role in future successes.

This is an exciting time for nGROUP. With strong growth over the past 12 months, we are doing more work than ever before, all while helping our partners achieve goals they’d never thought possible. As Vice President of Operations, Adam is one of the key figures responsible for driving continued growth for our partners.
