Introduction: Getting to Know You

Exploration & Analysis: Opportunities Ahoy!

After we’ve talked and decided to take the next step, nGROUP’s on-site work really begins. We build our partnership on getting to know the ins and outs of your facility, your team, and your processes. 

During the Exploration & Analysis stage, our goal is to carefully evaluate your operations for any and every opportunity. Using that information, we’ll start to build the business case for engaging our services.

It starts with a one-day visit to your site, at absolutely no cost to you. Our experts will work side-by-side with yours, going over your organization in detail. We’ll identify some obvious areas of improvement — and some that aren’t so obvious. Determining which improvements are possible and cost-effective is crucial. 

At the end of this first visit, we’ll provide feedback on what we’ve learned. At this point, the approximate magnitude of the overall opportunity should be coming into view. That will give you a more concrete idea of how nGROUP can serve. If it makes sense to keep pursuing the relationship, the Exploration phase will continue.

As we go forward, nGROUP will request hard data about your ops. Using this, we’ll establish baselines for production, per-unit costs, and critical KPIs. If that data isn’t available, not to worry. We can work with samples gathered from limited time frames to extrapolate a larger picture. 

Once we’ve all come to a consensus on what these baselines look like, it’s time for our nGROUP experts to come back to your site. On this follow-up visit, we’ll dive much deeper into the heart of your production lines. Once again, this visit is at absolutely zero cost to you. nGROUP engineers will flesh out the potential areas of opportunity, put a number on their value, and begin work on an implementation strategy. 

Depending on the complexity of a given operation, this deep dive can take two or three weeks. Because we’re dedicated to a straightforward, transparent process, you’ll always have an nGROUP expert nearby to help with concerns and questions.

Savings Guarantee: A Working Proposal That Forecasts Gains  

With hard data, baselines projections, and detailed ops knowledge in hand, it’s time for nGROUP to deliver our working proposal. 

At the end of the Exploration & Analysis phase, we’ll have a closing meeting. Here, nGROUP will present the bones of our proposed services, including preliminary pricing.  Typical savings projections are in the 10-30% range.  We’ll also provide a transition plan for getting everything up to speed. 

Once the proposal has been refined and you’re happy with the venture, it’s time to agree, sign, and implement. Our Exploration and Savings Guarantee phase will have defined and described that implementation and transition, making it as straightforward as possible.
