Director of Human Resources & Field Support – Job Description
The Director of Human Resources & Field Operations will report to the Chief Operating Officer and the Corporate Controller to provide human resource management and support to field leadership at nGROUP’s multiple locations.
More specifically, the ideal candidate will be focused in these areas:
Management and Support:
- Consults with Senior Operations Management to foster and promote the engagement of the business’s core values at all levels.
- Assists management and leadership in resolving employee relations issues, conducting effective investigations, and recommending actions for sensitive and complex situations.
- Recommends to the Field Leaders and management improved performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making.
- Assists leadership and management on progressive discipline of employees as well as employment decisions.
- Plays a major role in the management of varied projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within business departments and with business partners.
Strategy: Plays a strategic role in the direction of the people management function of the business through the undertaking of appropriate diagnostic measures such as talent reviews, pay band recommendations, IDP and performance management.
Analytics: Contributes to an analytical role in developing and monitoring personal metrics such as turnover, fill rates, absenteeism, engagement/morale. Will review gaps in leadership capability across departments and develop action plans accordingly. In this capacity this role will analyze human resources program activity, conduct performance analyses of the programs, prepare reports and proposals from findings, and present them to senior management for consideration.
Recruiting/Talent Sourcing: Plays a significant role in designing, developing, and executing full cycle recruitment plans and talent sourcing strategies that guarantee the attraction, selection, and successful recruitment of potential talent that will further drive attainment of staffing goals as well as the business’s overall objectives.
Onboarding: Supports the corporate office in the onboarding of new nGROUP associates.
Training: Partners with the corporate office in designing and implementing training programs for field leadership and field associates.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with 8+ years professional experience
SHRM Certification preferred (not not required)
*Bilingual English/Spanish required
Management experience is a plus, but not required.
Position Type: Full Time
Location: Anywhere in the continental USA, optional relocation if necessary
Travel: Frequent – 60-70%
